FAQs regarding PREDA – PR, Event Management, Digital, Activations Association
PREDA’S overall objective is the promotion, protection, enhancement and development of the interests of all persons directly or indirectly related with PR, digital and event management, which include PR individuals or companies, PR departments of organisations, digital companies or individuals providing such services, event management companies, activation companies and all other relevant trade partners.
- Its objectives include:
- Cultivation, promotion and enhancement of knowledge and techniques of communications.
- Facilitation of members and liaison between governing bodies and the public.
- Establishing a system of better communication and mutual support of its members in order to facilitate their business activities.
- Jointly initiating legal action and proceedings against copyrights violation and defaulting clients.
- Sharing a list of client defaulters to minimize chances of other members suffering at their hands as well.
- Jointly taking action against black-mailing publishers, editors, bloggers, etc.
- Collecting, classifying, and circulating among members information regarding violations of intellectual property rights in Pakistan.
- Ensuring good relationship among members and establishing a reconciliation or arbitration committee to resolve disputes and differences among them on their specific request and with their mutual consent.
- Looking after the welfare of persons in need of help, such as vendors and setting up a Benevolent Fund for their benefit
- Running the Association on non-commercial, non-profitable, non-religious and non-political basis.
