Shanaz Ramzi

Chairperson

Shanaz Ramzi is the founder and CEO of Starlinks PR and Events, a company with a strong CSR component that was established in 2015. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, including being a freelance journalist since 1991 and GM Public Relations and Publications at Pakistan’s premium entertainment network HUM from 2004 to 2015, she is highly respected for her professionalism and communication skills. Additionally, Shanaz is the author of three books and has edited several others.

Shanaz has received numerous awards for her work, and is the first Pakistani recipient of the prestigious international Stevies Award (bronze) for Start-up of the year, as well as the SVUS CEO of the World Award (gold) and SVUS PR World Award (silver). She is also a bronze award winner of Spotlight Short Film Awards for her documentary Salute to Karima (2018). She has also won the Global Business Insight Awards 2018 for Most Innovative in Social Media Management Services 2018 and has been featured in numerous interviews both nationally and internationally. Shanaz is also the president of TravelinPK.

Currently, Shanaz Ramzi serves as the Chairperson of Pakistan’s Association for Public Relations, Event Management, Digital, and Activations [PREDA] and is a board member of Heritage Foundation, TRC (Teacher’s Resource Centre), and NRPWF (Neurology Research and Patient Welfare Fund). She has also held various leadership roles in organizations such as the Standing Committee of Tourism Development at FPCCI, Rotary Club Karachi New Central, WCCI Karachi South, among others.

Frieha Altaf

Frieha Altaf is the CEO and Creative Head of Catwalk Event Management & Productions, a company that she established in 1986. She also founded ‘Cats Model Management,’ ‘Catalyst Public Relations,’ and ‘Rukhsati Wedding Planning.’

With over 38 years of experience, Frieha has organized more than 3500 events, ranging from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. She is considered a trailblazer in the Pakistani entertainment industry and has conceptualized prestigious events such as the Lux Style Awards, where she introduced the concept of the Red Carpet in Pakistan, Engro Excellence Awards, and Veet Supermodel. She is also credited with setting up the infrastructure for PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week and Fashion Pakistan Week, which showcased Pakistani fashion to the world. In the early 1990s, she introduced fashion to the masses with her iconic magazine TV show “Lux Style Ki Duniya.”

Frieha is a child sexual abuse activist and under the aegis of #meinbhi, initiated a movement that earned her the “Woman of the Year Award” bestowed by the Governor of Punjab at the Ladiesfund Women’s Awards 2019. She has received over 80 awards and accolades, including the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Lux Style Awards 2018 and the DWP Digital Diva Award 2015. Recently, she was also awarded the ‘Favourite Planner Indian Subcontinent’ at the prestigious RSVP Global Awards 2023.

In addition to her event management expertise, Frieha is an accomplished actor and has acted in numerous hit Pakistani films, TV plays, and OTT web series. As a pioneer of Talent Management in Pakistan, she has managed many A-list entertainment and sports stars. She is also an activist and Goodwill Ambassador for the Sahil organization, a Pink Ribbon Ambassador for Breast Cancer Awareness, and a General Body Member of the NGO Aahung. She has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences, including the APPNA 41st Annual Convention, the Destination Wedding Planners conference, and the ‘Trans Visibility Day Celebration Conference.’

Currently, Frieha serves as the Senior Vice President of Pakistan’s Association for Public Relations, Event Management, Digital, and Activations [PREDA]. She holds a Studio Arts degree Magna Cum Laude from William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y., and a diploma in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design in Ontario, Canada.

Selina Rashid Khan

Selina Rashid Khan is Pakistan’s top communications leader as the founder and CEO of Lotus Client Management and Public Relations, Pakistan’s first strategic communications agency, established in 2007. With over 18 years of experience in leadership positions, Selina continues to represent and define some of the most compelling brands, projects, and personalities in Pakistan and across the GCC.

She is a trailblazer in her field, having been awarded the prestigious PR News Top Women in PR Global Award, making her the first Pakistani recipient of this accolade. Currently, Selina serves as the Vice President of Pakistan’s Association for Public Relations, Event Management, Digital and Activations [PREDA], and is a board member of International Industries Limited [IIL], Pakistan’s largest manufacturer of steel and polymer pipes. Selina has also served as the Chair of Brand Pakistan, an advisory panel to the Special Assistant of the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Tourism and Overseas Pakistanis.

Selina’s expertise and contribution to public diplomacy reform in Pakistan have been significant, and she was an integral member of the Foreign Minister’s team in this area. Selina holds an Honors degree in Politics from the University of Warwick, UK, and has previously worked in London at Avalon Public Relations, one of the UK’s top PR firms. Selina Rashid Khan is recognized as Pakistan’s premier communications leader, and her contributions to the industry continue to make a lasting impact.

Hasan Rizvi

Hasan Rizvi, is a dynamic and innovative force in Pakistan’s PR landscape and is recognized as a powerhouse entrepreneur.

His entrepreneurial prowess is evident through his many successful companies, including Kohasaa, Dress Code, Master Class, Digerati, and BBPR. Digerati was the first to introduce the largest micro-influencer network through their platform, winning multiple EFFIE awards for its successful campaigns and projects.

Hasan has also made significant contributions to the world of dance. In 2008, he founded BBRC, Pakistan’s first Health & Fitness studio, earning him the title of ‘Hip Hop Ambassador’ in 2010, chosen by the US Department of State to represent Pakistan, including performing state performances across the United States.

Hasan’s legacy is one of excellence, innovation, and growth.

Atiqa Odho

Founding Member

Atiqa Odho is a household name, recognized equally as an artist and as a powerhouse brand.

As the CEO of Odho Consultancy, she is responsible for organizing and curating some of Pakistan’s leading media and entertainment platforms, including the industry trade conference, FocusPK.

Atiqa is currently elected Chairperson of the Actors Collective Trust (ACT) in Pakistan. She has previously served as the Chairperson of the United Producers Association (UPA), Vice Chair of the Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) and is a founding member of the PREDA Council.

Aamir Mazhar

Aamir Mazhar embarked on his event management journey in 2007 and has since then been involved in numerous national and international projects of repute.

As the Executive Director of Savvy PR & Events, he works between the UAE and Pakistan, focusing primarily on South Asian fashion and lifestyle projects.

Aamir completed his Master’s in banking and finance from the Lahore School of Economics and worked as a corporate banker before delving into the field of event management and PR.

Aamir is a founding member of PREDA.
